Position Overview

The Partnerships Assistant will play a vital role in supporting Coral Gardeners’ mission to protect and restore coral reefs by building and managing partnerships with businesses and organizations worldwide. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of partnership agreements, driving sustainable growth, and maximizing the impact of our collaborations. You will work closely with the Partnerships Director and team to identify new prospects, manage ongoing relationships, and coordinate the logistical aspects of our partnerships, including meetings, contracts, and the delivery of partner-branded goods. Your contributions will help strengthen Coral Gardeners’ global network of partners, ensuring long-term success and advancing our mission to restore coral ecosystems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the partnerships team in managing contracts.
  • Help maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales processes to ensure efficiency and consistency in partnership management.
  • Research, identify, and qualify prospects.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with current and potential partners to discuss collaboration opportunities, follow-ups, and project updates.
  • Prepare presentation decks and proposals for meetings with prospects and partners, and write impact reports.
  • Maintain a detailed record of interactions between the Partnerships Director, partners, and prospects, and brief the partnerships team before meetings.
  • Write accurate meeting minutes, summarizing key discussion points, decisions, and actions to be taken.
  • Prepare detailed meeting reports and distribute them promptly to the Partnerships Coordinator and Director.
  • Follow up after meetings with prospects or partners to ensure actions are taken and deadlines are met.
  • Regularly update the presentation materials with the latest information on the organization's impact and progress on its key missions.
  • Keep the CRM platform up to date and configured for optimized partnership management.
  • Organize fundraising trips and manage the travel calendar and logistics for trips and meetings.
  • Work with the operations team to plan and organize partner visits and coordinate the shipping and inventory of goods.
  • Regularly collect and distribute Coral Gardeners’ news and impact data to partners.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills: capable of prioritizing, solving problems, and implementing systems to improve efficiency and deliver projects on time.
  • Comfortable managing revenue for an environmental cause.
  • Independent and comfortable working in a team.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong interest in environmental conservation, marine conservation, and/or coral restoration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or New Media.
  • Experience in building successful relationships with donors and/or key stakeholders within a fundraising team or an academic setting.
  • Experience with project management tools, preferably Monday.com.
  • Proficiency in Hubspot, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Keynote.
  • Strong written and spoken French.
  • Fluent in English.
